What is backflow testing/certification and why do I need to have it done?

The backflow is extremely important because it prevents contaminated water from flowing back into your homes water supply. It is a safeguard that protects you and your family. This piece of equipment needs to be periodically tested in order to ensure optimal protection. It is a mandated law that the backflow is tested and certified annually (other municipalities may vary).
